Sewerage and drainage

Badsey and Harvington Flood Alleviation Scheme, WorcestershireSewerage and drainage work forms the core of Birch Brothers (Kidderminster) Ltd’s portfolio.

We work with clients nationwide in the public and private sectors. Our clients currently include local authorities, the Environment Agency, housing associations and industrial developers.

Between 2000 and 2005 we were framework contractors to Severn Trent Water. We received the Severn Trent Water Sewerage Team Award in 2001. We still carry out works direct for Severn Trent Water as well as installing off-site sewers and sewer diversions requiring a Severn Trent Water approved contractor.

We have installed many sewerage schemes including gravity sewers, rising mains, box culverts, attenuation storage tanks, combined storm overflows (CSOs), unsatisfactory intermittent discharges (UIDs) and pumped storage tanks

We are sympathetic to the challenges and constraints of each particular project. Whether it be an urban environment where traffic management and public access issues are important to minimise disruption, an industrial site where productivity and logistics are a priority or a rural site where environmental and ecological matters all require close attention, we have the sensitivity and experience to manage the project to successful completion.

We are proud to have received many repeat orders following on from a successfully completed competitive tender. We believe this illustrates our continuing ability to offer expertise and experience with good value.

To discuss your forthcoming sewerage and drainage works, please contact our Estimators, Stan Good or Graham Pope, in the first instance.

In our Project Portfolio and Gallery you will find information on sewerage projects including one at Badsey and Harvington in Worcestershire.
