Refuse chute renewal

Refuse chute renewal in high rise developments is a specialist area.  Successful completion depends on finding an experienced and hard-working contractor.  It is a field in which we hold considerable expertise.

The work involves replacing broken and damaged terracotta or concrete pipes with large diameter stainless steel tubes.  We generally use tubes with a 30 year guarantee but if a shorter term answer is required, thinner walled tubes can be supplied.

We have undertaken chute renewal work in high rise developments throughout the West Midlands as well as Gateshead, Leeds, Manchester, Hull and London.  As the government’s Decent Homes programme is gaining pace, we expect that demand for the services we offer in this area will rapidly increase.

2008 and 2009 have been extremely busy for us with a number of contracts undertaken for Lovell Partnerships and Thomas Vale on Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s Decent Homes Programme and, in conjunction with Hardall International, on a similar programme of improvements for Dudley MBC.
