The late summer and autumn of 2006 was spent constructing a new footbridge above the Peaks Hole Water in the Hope Valley of Derbyshire.
A small but interesting contract involving bottom driven in-situ concrete piles, reinforced concrete abutments and wing walls clad with local masonry and a prefabricated steel footbridge. The contract was valued at £66,000 and completed in early November 2006.
