Kingsley College has attained Performing Arts status and as a result is now accepting pupils from a wider catchment area.

The acceptance has meant many more school buses are used with the resulting problem of drop off, turning and collection.

The problem was resolved by our client, Worcestershire County Council, and their engineers, Robert West Consulting. They decided to use Trief Kerbs on concrete as a retaining wall and then infilling and tarmacking to create a large turning bay for the coaches.

This contract demonstrated yet another method of retaining wall construction and our roadworks ability gained over many years of minor road construction for Local Authorities and Severn Trent Water.
