Water and wetland habitat creation

As a company we revel in the type of work involved in the creation of new water and wetland habitats.

In the past few years we have been privileged to carry out five habitat creation schemes for the Environment Agency and in addition have experience of catering for beetles, otters, bats, great crested newts and snakes.

Habitat creation schemes

  • Mochdre Weir, Newtown, Powys – salmon and trout spawning grounds
  • Wetland scrapes on the Rivers Avon and Severn – riverside grazing for waders and wildfowl
  • Drakelow Nature Reserve, River Trent – reed beds in lake and river
  • Poulton Court, River Severn – inter tidal grazing for waders and wildfowl

To discuss your forthcoming habitat creation project please contact either Stan Good or Graham Pope.
